As part of our community outreach programs Faith undertook an orientation program for female inmates of the ANTYODOY ANATH ASHRAM at PAUNSI
We conducted an interactive session with the girls on topics ranging from infection prevention, hygiene and menstrual hygiene, to the emerging challenge of antimicrobial resistance.
Participants actively joined the discussions and were soon demonstrating steps of handwasing, correct methods of disposing sanitary napkins, and more such hygienic practices.
They were happy to learn about the science behind menstruation and AMR and pledged to spread the messages among their peers !
The program ended with happy faces of teachers and learners eager to put the newly acquired knowledge to practice!
Sincere gratitude to Shri Balaram Karan for his zeal to promote wellbeing of his wards and wholehearted support for the program.
FAITH, in collaboration with the dynamic students of Shri Shikshayatan College, recently concluded an impactful internship under the One Health in Classrooms initiative!
Students engaged deeply with communities and classrooms, discussing various aspects of the One Health approach — with a strong focus on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) 💊🦠
The internship included survey activities, interactive sessions , and capacity-building workshops to enhance student learning and engagement.
These future leaders are now empowered to promote holistic health that links humans, animals, and the environment

On International Women’s Day 2025, FAITH proudly recognized the invaluable contributions of women in domestic work!
Through engaging discussions, lifestyle modification awareness, health surveys, and anthropometric measurements, we emphasized the importance of their well-being and empowerment. Our initiative aimed to highlight their voices, promote better health practices, and advocate for their rights.
🌸 Let’s stand together for dignity, respect, and empowerment for all women! 🌸
A small village Ramnathpur has been part of a pioneering initiative on education and nutrition support for young children by the Kolkata Empowerment foundation and FAITH decided to visit and collaborate to bring about changes in health status and health behaviour.
During this screening camp, while conducting anthropometric assessments and clinical examinations for children and their mothers, we learned from and with them. What we learnt from and with them, was not what we had expected.
We observed very poor orodental hygiene among children with many of them flashing smiles revealing decayed and missing teeth.
As FAITH develops strategies to try to change their lives, we look forward to suggestions and contributions to face these challenges!
